I started in the mailroom of Murphey Favre Inc in Spokane in January of 1990. In 1992, I transferred to their office in Seattle for a position in corporate accounting and started my third year at the University of Washington. After a year, I worked as a Registered Representative for Murphey Favre and then went on to work with Richards, Merrill and Peterson. I stayed at Richards, Merril and Peterson until I decided to start my own firm \u2013 Northwest Investment Advisors. Shortly, the firm became a broker\/dealer, and I served as President and 50% owner.<\/p>\n

In 2007, I decided to consolidate and simplify my practice by creating Wren Investment Management. This allowed me to take a step back from supervising others and concentrate more on portfolio management and client relationships. I am one of the very few in my industry to have worked their way up through the ranks from the mailroom and built my practice one client at a time. This gives me a very realistic and unique perspective of the investment and financial services industry.<\/p>\n
